This specialized role focuses on consultative solution selling to prospective enterprise clients, primarily involving strategic unemployment tax planning, cost management, and compliance advisory during corporate merger & acquisition (M&A) events. The position will focus on building C-suite relationships, executing targeted growth strategies, and acquiring new employer accounts across the Central U.S. region.

The Regional Account Executive will be primarily responsible for driving end-to-end direct sales and market expansion for Equifax Workforce Solutions (EWS) Employment Tax Services (ETS). This specialized role focuses on consultative solution selling to prospective enterprise clients, primarily involving strategic unemployment tax planning, cost management, and compliance advisory during corporate merger & acquisition (M&A) events. The position will focus on building C-suite relationships, executing targeted growth strategies, and acquiring new employer accounts across the Central U.S. region.

What You'll Do

Primarily an outside consulting and sales position; identifies and develops new business opportunities and contacts the key decision makers of prospective clients

Develops and executes the sales strategies and tactics to maximize revenue potential; builds new and maintains existing customer relationships

Makes follow-up calls and manages the sales process through contract execution; works with an M&A data analyst to accomplish essential duties and responsibilities

Enters account and other relevant sales information into the prospect management tool (Salesforce CRM)

Presents at regional trade shows or other prospect events

What Experience You Need

Bachelor’s degree, preferably BS in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting/Tax, or similar

5+ years of successful consultative service-based solution selling to senior level management in a business-to-business environment

What could set you apart

  • A fundamental understanding of business mergers & acquisitions
  • Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets and Word and/or Google Docs
  • Excellent listening and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak on technical unemployment tax issues and build trust and credibility

Consultative selling experience

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 to $105,000. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program at approximately 50%. The application window is anticipated to close on November 20, 2026. This date is a good faith estimate only and may be modified where necessary.
