Client Service Accountant

We are seeking a Client Service Accountant who holds a CPA designation in good standing and has at least four years of public accounting experience. The successful candidate will strengthen their technical and leadership capabilities while serving a diverse client base across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Leading and planning audit and other assurance engagements, including reviews, from start to finish
• Developing tailored audit and assurance procedures based on client needs, engagement requirements, and risk assessments
• Preparing financial statements and related working papers for audit and assurance engagements in accordance with ASPE and applicable professional standards
• Reviewing audit and assurance work prepared by junior staff, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with applicable professional standards
• Identifying and resolving audit and assurance matters, and clearly communicating engagement findings and recommendations to clients and managers
• Managing multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• CPA designation in good standing
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of progressive public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of audit and assurance standards, ASPE, and internal controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Caseware and TaxPrep
• Valid Class G driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for client-site travel
