Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations and detailed analysis
  • of balance sheet accounts, including researching differences between general
  • ledger balances and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed.
  • Prepare monthly sales commission calculations and related journal entries.
  • Assist with monitoring intercompany balances, preparing eliminations, and

reconciling intercompany accounts across multiple entities.

  • Assist with preparing journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and other

recurring corporate-level adjustments.

  • Assist with external audit and tax requests, ensuring compliance with GAAP

and corporate policies.

  • Assist with treasury activities such as daily reconciliations of cash
  • accounts. Partner with other departments to support process improvements,
  • system enhancements, and special projects.

This position is 100% remote.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Applicable experience includes each of the following skills:
  • Accounting in corporate or multi-entity environments
  • Accounting in ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
  • Accounting in accordance to US GAAP in key areas including ASC 606 (revenue
  • recognition), ASC 360 (accounting for property, plant and equipment), ASC
  • 470 (debt recognition and measurement), ASC 405 (general accruals)
  • Planning and monitoring spending, budgets and forecasted amounts.

Location: 100% Remote - Reports into the Corporate Headquarters in Houston, TX
