Atkins Kroll is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate customer accounts, managing billing and collections, applying payments, and supporting timely cash flow across the business. Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and collections.

Atkins Kroll is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate customer accounts, managing billing and collections, applying payments, and supporting timely cash flow across the business.

What you’ll do

Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and collections.

Generate accurate and timely customer invoices, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts.

Reconcile customer and intercompany accounts, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions with Sales, Service, and Operations teams.

Process and accurately apply customer payments through check, ACH, credit card, and wire transfers.

Prepare aging reports, cash forecasting support, month-end schedules, and documentation while assisting with journal entries and financial close activities.

Support audits, financial projects, and global accounts receivable processes while providing guidance to the global services team.

About you

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, reconciliations, payment processing, and accounting principles.

Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
