Essential Job Functions (Core Responsibilities - ~85%)

General Accounting – 40%

  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries; maintain supporting

documentation; ensure compliance with accounting standards.

  • Perform and review account reconciliations; investigate and resolve

discrepancies; maintain accuracy of the general ledger.

  • Support close processes, including account analysis, accruals, and

preparation of financial data for reporting.

Financial Reporting & Analysis - 25%

  • Prepare recurring reports and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from

management and other departments.

  • Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports in

accordance with company policies and GAAP.

  • Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide

insights to support business decisions.

Payroll - 15%

  • Gather all required information related to payroll from cross functional

partners. such as human resources and managers.

  • Process bi-weekly payroll processing using ADP.
  • Respond to employee questions related to payroll processing.
  • Post journal entries associated with payroll processing and month end

accruals.

Budgeting & Forecasting - 5%

  • Support annual budget preparation and monthly forecasting by providing

financial data, analysis, and variance explanations.

Additional Responsibilities (Secondary- ~15%)

Audit Support

  • Prepare schedules and documentation.
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests

Process Improvement & Special projects

  • Collaborate with teams to improve accounting processes, enhance

efficiencies, and support special projects.

Compliance

  • Follow all company quality standards, safety policies, and required

procedures.

  • Maintain confidentiality with all proprietary information.

Other Duties

  • Creates, refines and maintains up to date procedures on all duties.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Controller.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 0-4 years related experience

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with highly sensitive

information.

  • Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations based on

technical knowledge and experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support collaboration

with coworkers, management, and external partners.

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to follow established processes and

procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 – $95,000 annually.
  • Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills,
  • qualifications, and geographic location.
