We are looking for someone who

Examples of the duties
Assist in the preparation, analysis, and review of financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Help clients maintain timely and accurate financial records including recording of transactions in ledgers, preparing and reviewing trial balances and financial statements.
Identify trends, variances, and areas of concern within client financial information and communicate findings to leaders.
Assist clients with accounting technology solutions, including software implementation, training, troubleshooting, and optimization of QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage and related applications.
Support advisory engagements by helping clients strengthen accounting processes, improve financial reporting workflows, establish efficient operating procedures and address business challenges through practical, value-added recommendations.
Collaborate with team members to develop process improvements that increase efficiency and improve client service delivery.
Build and maintain positive client relationships through proactive and responsive communication.
Stay current on accounting standards, industry trends, technology solutions and firm processes.
Job Description
Client Advisory Accounting Staff at Christianson partner with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate financial information, meaningful analysis, and proactive advisory support. This role assists with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consulting projects that help clients understand their financial performance and make informed business decisions. Through strong technical skills, effective communication, and a client-focused approach, the position contributes to long-term client success and business growth.
Qualifications & Characteristics
- 4- year accounting degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
- 1+ years of experience in Agriculture preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and other staff
Strong in problem-solving, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and being detail-oriented
Can work independently but also work effectively with a team Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of the following programs: QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Sage
- Other things we think you should know about the position
Location – on-site in one of our locations in Minnesota: Willmar, Litchfield, Redwood Falls, Paynesville, or Sauk Centre
Hours are normally Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST
