We’re seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, support client financial reporting, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Why You’ll Love This Role

As the Junior Accountant, you’ll:

• Prepare accounting records and review client financial statements, including Income Statements and Balance Sheets.
• Record, reconcile, and maintain general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Enter accounting transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
• Complete month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations.
• Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel to analyze financial data.
• Support accountants with payroll, accounts payable, bill payments, and other specialized tasks as needed.
• Assist with ERP-related tasks and maintain internal process documentation.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree in Accounting required (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience, including internships or entry-level positions.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, basic data analysis).
• Experience with QuickBooks; familiarity with Xero is a plus.
• ERP system familiarity (Business Central or similar) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Farm/agriculture accounting knowledge is a plus.

Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 per year
