General Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our
  • Finance team in a fast-paced apparel environment. This role supports month-end
  • close, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, sales tax compliance,
  • audit support, and financial reporting across multiple brands. The ideal
  • candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals, solid Excel skills, hands-on
  • problem-solving ability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • accurately and efficiently.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and

posting journal entries, accruals, schedules, and supporting workpapers.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards,
  • fixed assets, prepaids, accrued expenses, and other assigned balance sheet
  • accounts.
  • Prepare month-end accruals related to Full Circle activity and investigate

and resolve reconciling items.

  • Analyze general ledger activity and account fluctuations, research variances,

and communicate findings to management.

  • Prepare sales tax reports and filings and coordinate with the Company's

third-party sales tax provider.

  • Prepare audit schedules, financial statement support, and other documentation

for internal and external audits.

  • Support financial reporting and prepare workbooks and presentation materials

for month-end close and cost center reviews.

  • Prepare the Wells Fargo Borrowing Base Certificate as needed and maintain

supporting documentation.

  • Use Full Circle ERP, Excel, and various other supporting documents for

accounting research, reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues, improve

processes, and support accurate financial reporting.

  • Manage renewal processes for store licenses, property taxes, gift cards, and

other store-level requirements.

  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting,

fixed assets, and other accounting functions as needed.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong accounting and analytical skills with a solid understanding of U.S.

GAAP.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced

environment.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables,

lookups, and data analysis.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial

information professionally.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience; apparel, fashion, wholesale, or

multi-brand experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, account

reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookups,

and data analysis.

  • ERP/accounting system experience required; Full Circle ERP experience

strongly preferred.

  • Sales tax compliance, financial reporting, or audit support experience

preferred.

  • This position is designated as Hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Irvine,
  • CA office.

Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read reports.

  • Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors
  • and employees.

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products.

Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.
