Mortgage servicing is the long-running work behind every home loan: processing payments, managing escrow, taxes and insurance, reporting to investors, and helping homeowners. It is critical financial infrastructure, yet much of it still runs on systems built before the internet. We spent six years running our own mortgage servicer on ValonOS, proving what an AI-native system can do in one of the most regulated industries in the country. We then sold our servicing business and opened ValonOS to the industry. ValonOS brings servicing data, accounting, workflows, reporting, and compliance into one contextual layer and system of record. People and AI agents work from the same source of truth and within the same guardrails, so teams can deploy AI to perform real work safely. Ditto is the AI agent native to ValonOS. It handles homeowner communications, escrow analysis, complaint research, payment reallocations, and more. Through our agent-building platform, Ditto can learn complex, customer-specific processes from the workflows each servicer deploys on ValonOS. Work that once took days or weeks can now happen in near real time. ValonOS is live at two of the ten largest servicers in the United States, and one in six U.S. mortgages is signed up to run on ValonOS.
