Job Details: Job Location: REMOTE US - Kansas City, MO, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Senior Business Analyst, eCommerce and Order Management serves as a business analyst for Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory processes supporting our B2B and B2C eCommerce customers. This is an individual-contributor role that works directly with external customer stakeholders through internal Customer Success teams to capture enhancement requests, manage an enhancement roadmap, and secure customer leadership approval before committing work to the development team. The Senior Business Analyst translates customer and business needs into clear, detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and partners with development, and QA following the SDLC process. This role is technology-agnostic by design, supporting SupplyLogic's current and future ERP and eCommerce platforms, including anticipated platform transitions. This is a hybrid/fully remote position with minimal travel, reporting to the VP of Applications in IT. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Customer Partnership & Roadmap Ownership • Serve as the primary business analyst point of contact for assigned enterprise customers, working directly with their stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and enhancement needs. • Partner with internal Customer Success and Account Management teams to intake, clarify, and validate customer enhancement requests. • Build and maintain a shared enhancement roadmap in partnership with customers and Customer Success; present roadmap and prioritization recommendations to customer leadership for approval before committing development resources. • Evaluate and prioritize requests based on business value, customer impact, complexity, risk, and delivery capacity. • Manage customer expectations around scope, trade-offs, and timelines, escalating conflicts or resourcing constraints to the VP of Applications as needed. Requirements & Solution Definition • Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with customers and internal stakeholders across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory functions. • Develop detailed business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria that development teams can build against. • Document current-state and future-state process maps and identify gaps between them. • Partner with architects, developers, and vendors to evaluate solution options across ERP and eCommerce platforms. • Ensure proposed solutions account for integrations, data, security, scalability, and downstream business impact. • Maintain deep working knowledge of o Order-to-Cash processes, including order entry, pricing and promotions, credit management, invoicing/billing, and cash application. • Identify integration points and downstream impacts across ERP, eCommerce, WMS, and reporting systems. Agile Delivery & Backlog Management • Participate as the business analyst within an Agile/Scrum framework, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives. • Maintain and prioritize the enhancement backlog in partnership with Product/Development leadership. • Partner with customers, Customer Success, and IT/data teams to define reporting and analytics requirements tied to Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory KPIs. • Translate business questions into reporting specifications and clear data definitions. • Maintain roadmap and initiative documentation, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items. • Provide regular status updates to the VP of Applications and escalate risks or decisions requiring leadership attention. Qualifications: 5-8 or more years of business analysis or product owner experience, with demonstrated depth across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory business processes. • Demonstrated experience working directly with external customers to gather, clarify, and prioritize enhancement requests. • Experience building and presenting enhancement roadmaps to customer or business leadership for approval. • Experience writing detailed business/functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria that development teams can build against. • Working experience within an Agile/Scrum framework, including backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies. • Experience with ERP and/or eCommerce platforms. • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including comfort presenting to and negotiating with customer leadership. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical teams, internal business stakeholders, and customers. • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. Preferred • CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, or CSM certification, or an equivalent Agile/business analyst/ product owner credential. • Familiarity with eCommerce-to-ERP and ERP-to-WMS integrations.
