Job Summary

  • The Financial Analyst is a newly created position within the FP&A team and will
  • work closely with the Consumer business, including the Sales, Marketing, Supply
  • Chain, and Operations teams. This role will assist with financial reporting,
  • budgeting, and profitability analysis, providing data-driven insights that
  • support planning, decision-making, and execution of strategic initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Reporting
  • Support the annual budget process, including the collection, validation,

consolidation, and analysis of business assumptions.

  • Analyze key P&L metrics and performance drivers, including revenue, volume,

price, promotions, cost of goods sold, and SG&A.

  • Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis versus budget

and prior year.

  • Support month-end close activities by validating results, investigating

variances, and identifying key business drivers.

  • Perform profitability analysis by business segment, customer, product group,

and other relevant dimensions to support commercial and operational teams.

  • Maintain and enhance Power BI reports and other financial reporting tools to

improve data accuracy, accessibility, and visibility.

Business Partnership & Process Improvement

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to translate
  • financial results and operational trends into clear, actionable business
  • insights.
  • Assist with business cases and profitability analyses to support innovation,
  • new product launches, marketing investment decisions, and other strategic
  • projects.
  • Leverage Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools to automate recurring

work, improve data visibility, and increase reporting efficiency.

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, data

quality, and planning capabilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

required.

  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance, Accounting,

or related business finance roles.

  • Consumer products/manufacturing and business partnership experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and

financial modeling with large datasets.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional

stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing

multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization preferred.
