Senior Business Analyst, HSBC Technology & Services (USA) Inc., Jersey City, NJ: Maintain and support existing US Risk Reporting applications (Credit Data Warehouse, US Wholesale Credit Risk, Credit Approval Tracker, and DFA Risk Reporting Engine), and drive change by building out new applications as the business funds additional risk projects. The Dodd Frant Act (DFA) Risk Reporting Engine is a regulatory application primarily responsible for exposure reporting satisfying the DFA 610 and 165 regulatory requirements. Responsible for building and maintaining additional applications within the US Risk Reporting space. Supports tasks for the analysis, development, testing and end-to-end project delivery. Utilize knowledge of financial instruments, risk measurement methodologies, regulatory reporting requirements, data control frameworks, and program management practices. Work as a business systems analyst supporting the project team in the implementation, and production support of business systems of medium to high risk. Document functional design specifications based on business requirements. Interpret business requirements from a technical perspective, draft system specifications, and support solution design and implementation. Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including drafting, executing of test cases and end-to-end coordination with stakeholders. Support production systems by analyzing data, related issues, identifying root causes and solutions. Support data design, flows, controls and oversee implementation. Creation of technical documentation, such as release plans and user manuals. Responsible for adhering to US Regulations relating to Dodd Frank, Basel 3, CCAR, RWA, and Regulation W. Steer the overall project approach by building and maintaining stakeholder buyin for the project plan, delivery commitments, and change initiatives related to Credit Risk data management. Report on project progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to project and program leadership, and provide recommendations to support informed decision making, ensure continued delivery, and enable benefits realization. Manage financial budgets across multiple projects, including tracking and reporting actuals, preparing forecasts, and analyzing budget variances.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $193,461.00 to $203,461.00 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Must have 2 years of experience in US Regulations including OCC, Basel, and Dodd Frank.
Must have 8 years of experience in
Working as a business systems analyst on IT development.
US Regulatory Reporting domain or Wholesale Credit Risk including financial trading, wholesale credit, and risk reporting.
Software development utilizing methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) with adherence to DevOps structure.
Application production support and ITSM processes.
Supporting change, including risk assessment and risk controls, and supporting audit reviews of the change process.
Documentation of workflow and dataflows using tools such as Enterprise Architect, Visio and Rational Rose.
ETL and workflow management automation tools (CloverETL and Cicero).
Data Analysis skills using SQL databases (Oracle, Sybase, Sybase IQ or Postgres environment).
Support SIT / UAT, including drafting and executing of test cases.
Project management lifecycle, including development of project roadmaps, plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
Working across UNIX and Windows platforms.
Implementing data quality control frameworks within risk management platforms for risk calculation and regulatory reporting.
