Business Analyst, Hyper Velocity Engineering

• Velocity Engineering (HVE). The ideal candidate plays a critical role in helping
• organizations transform business needs into clear, actionable requirements that
• drive successful technology and business outcomes.   Working as part of
• multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will partner with clients, business
• stakeholders, solution architects, and developers to understand business
• challenges, define requirements, optimize processes, and support the delivery of
• innovative digital solutions. Leveraging modern AI-enabled tools and delivery
• methodologies, you will help accelerate analysis activities, improve
• documentation quality, and reduce time from discovery to implementation.  This
• role is ideal for a business analysis professional who enjoys solving complex
• business problems, facilitating stakeholder discussions, designing future-state
• processes, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives.

What You will Do

• Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
• Lead discovery workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions

with business and technology stakeholders.

• Understand business objectives, challenges, processes, and desired outcomes.
• Elicit, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and

non-functional requirements.

• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, business rules,

and acceptance criteria.

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment, decision-making, and requirements approval.
• Act as a trusted advisor between business teams and delivery teams.

Business Process Design & Transformation

• Analyze current-state business processes and identify opportunities for
• improvement.

• Design future-state processes that enhance efficiency, user experience, and

business value.

• Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, decision trees, and business models.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and AI adoption.
• Support organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Solution Planning & Delivery Support

• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and project teams to ensure

requirements are clearly understood and implemented.

• Break large business initiatives into manageable work packages and user

stories.

• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and testing

activities.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), requirements validation, and business

readiness activities.

• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

AI-Enabled Business Analysis

• Leverage tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and AI-assisted

analysis tools to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Use AI-generated outputs to accelerate documentation, research, and

requirements development while ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Support the design and implementation of AI-enabled workflows and business

processes.

• Contribute to emerging best practices for AI-assisted analysis and Hyper

Velocity Engineering delivery.

Governance & Quality Assurance

• Maintain high standards of requirements quality, consistency, and

traceability.

• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
• Support project governance, review processes, and delivery standards.
• Contribute to reusable templates, methodologies, playbooks, and best

practices.

What You Bring

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science,

Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product

Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role.

• Experience leading technology oriented stakeholder workshops and requirements

discovery sessions.

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product development

practices.

• Experience documenting business requirements, user stories, process flows,

and acceptance criteria.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar delivery tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within digital transformation, technology implementation,

or consulting environments.

• Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot or

Microsoft Copilot.

• Knowledge of process improvement, business process management, and workflow

automation.

• Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), UML, Design

Thinking, or User Story Mapping.

• Experience with Power Platform, automation technologies, or low-code

solutions.

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, Scrum, or Microsoft certifications are considered

assets.

• This is a current opportunity with an ideal hiring range of between $95,000 and
• $120,000 depending on skills and experience.
