About This Role
This Business Analyst position supports the Financial Planning team within PNC Wealth Management and serves as a key contributor to the strategy, management, and evolution of the financial planning platform. The role resides within the line of business rather than technology and is responsible for the tools, technology, workflows, and platform capabilities that enable Financial Advisors and Financial Planners to deliver planning advice to clients. The position plays a critical role in executing the financial planning technology roadmap across advisor-facing and direct-to-client experiences, while partnering with technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to enhance planning capabilities and drive adoption.
This role helps shape the future of financial planning at PNC by ensuring advisors, planners, and clients have access to modern, intuitive, and scalable planning technology. Success in this position directly influences advisor productivity, client engagement, financial planning adoption, and the delivery of PNC Wealth Management's long-term digital planning strategy.
What You'll Do
Support the execution of the Financial Planning platform roadmap, including enhancements that improve advisor, planner, and client experiences.
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, advancing projects through internal governance, risk, compliance, and approval processes.
Serve as a business owner and subject matter expert for financial planning technology platforms, tools, and workflows.
Partner with financial planning software vendors on product releases, evaluating new functionality, prioritizing enhancements, and advocating for advisor and planner needs.
Collaborate with technology teams to translate business requirements into platform capabilities and oversee delivery through implementation.
Manage the incoming request queue from sales, advisory, planning, and field teams, including prioritization, stakeholder communication, expectation setting, and issue resolution.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate planning processes through digital tools, workflow enhancements, and artificial intelligence capabilities.
Communicate platform enhancements, roadmap updates, and technology changes to advisors, planners, and business partners in user-friendly terms.
What We're Looking For
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to balance strategic initiatives and day-to-day platform support. The ideal candidate can serve as the primary liaison among advisors, planners, vendors, technology teams, and business leadership while helping drive the evolution of the Financial Planning platform.
We are seeking a candidate with 2+ years of experience in business analysis, product management, project management, consulting, business operations, or program coordination, ideally within wealth management, financial services, brokerage, banking, or investment advisory organizations. Experience supporting software platforms, digital products, technology roadmaps, or vendor-managed solutions is highly desirable. Experience applying artificial intelligence tools to improve advisor productivity, automate workflows, or enhance client experiences is strongly preferred.
Leverages analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit to create data driven solutions.
