Senior Financial Analyst, Alexa Devices Finance

• Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join the Alexa Home
• Devices Finance team. The SFA will be a key member of the Alexa team, providing
• finance support to business partners. This is an exciting opportunity to join at
• an early stage for one of the most innovative businesses at Amazon.

• The right candidate have be self-motivated, have strong business judgment and
• considerable financial acumen. This role requires the ability to interact and
• collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales & marketing,
• engineering and finance teams.

The candidate must be able to balance challenging priorities, meet tight

deadlines and provide insights & recommendations backed by data driven analysis.

Key job responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting across Alexa Home
• Drive annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, perform month end

close related activities, including variance commentary, R&O updates, weekly

reporting, etc

• Provide strong controllership environment and improve controls over

operational and financial metrics

Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related

field

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support

business strategy experience

• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial

• performance and strategy experience Preferred Qualifications: - Experience
• working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS
• Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP,

Lawson, JD Edwards)

• 5+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve,

automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes

experience

• The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package
• will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
• compensation will be determined based on factors including experience,
