This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in Toronto, Canada. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sr. Business Analyst to support the Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) organization. This role is critical in delivering financial reporting, generating actionable insights, and streamlining tools and processes to drive efficiency across the business.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Own and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reporting (daily, weekly, and monthly) for the MFP organization

Analyze sales, margin, inventory, and pricing performance; translate findings into clear, actionable insights

  • Develop executive-ready summaries and reporting packages for leadership
  • Build and maintain North America rollups and cross-banner summaries

Standardization & Templates

  • Lead the development and standardization of reporting templates across banners, including:
  • Ladders
  • Daily sales reporting
  • Weekly sales tracking

Pricing strategies and analysis

  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability across all reporting outputs
  • Enhance and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and templates (Excel, Power BI, etc.)

Process Optimization

  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in reporting processes to improve speed and accuracy
  • Automate recurring deliverables to reduce manual effort and increase scalability

Partner with Data & Analytics and IT to enhance reporting capabilities and tool effectiveness

Request Management & Execution

  • Serve as a central point of contact for incoming reporting and analysis requests
  • Prioritize and execute deliverables with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail

Take ownership of high-volume analytical workstreams, helping offload work from leadership and increasing team efficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field

2+ years of experience in allocation, inventory management, merchandise planning, or a related analytical role

Advanced Excel skills required: Pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data modeling, large dataset management

  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear, concise insights for executive audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $60000 - $70000 CAD. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
