Job Description
Information about the Role, Line of Business and Team:
The Financial Planning & Analysis team of the Crum & Forster Accident & Health is looking for a multi-talented individual to join this fast-paced, dynamic group. This person will be responsible for working on a broad range of financial and data analytics projects to deliver reporting, trend analysis, and performance insights that help drive operational excellence and profitable growth and deliver key information in real time. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment but with the benefits of a smaller organization and the security, stability, and opportunity of a large conglomerate. You will interact directly with all points from senior executives to customers, with visibility throughout the organization and a direct impact on the bottom line.
What you will do
Strategic financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support business decisions and growth
Analyze financial performance, prepare forecasts, and provide actionable insights
Collaborating with business units and shared services on revenue and expense reporting and analysis
Supporting multi-year planning, revenue growth and cost optimization initiatives
Process, cleanse, and validate data from multiple internal systems to ensure consistency, completeness, and reliability
- Support multiple business initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Maintain and update budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tools and models
Assist in improving existing processes and data workflows, tools, and models as appropriate
Perform recurring and ad-hoc analyses and present results in a clear manner
What YOU will bring to C&F

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in associated field of study; Finance, Accounting, Mathematics/Statistics
2-3 years of FP&A or similar experience with strong analytical and modeling skills preferred
Familiarity with insurance, financial, and operational metrics
Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and financial modeling
Experience querying and analyzing data using SQL

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $59,000.00 to a maximum of $86,500.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
