Financial Analyst

About the Role

We're looking for a Financial Analyst who likes turning numbers into answers. You'll build our forecasts, track how we're doing against budget, and give leaders a clear picture of where the business is heading and why. You'll work closely with department heads and report directly to our VP of Finance, and your analysis will reach senior leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and the annual budget
  • Run budget-vs-actual variance analysis and explain what's driving each gap
  • Build financial models for new initiatives, pricing, capital spending and scenario planning
  • Prepare the monthly management reports and KPI dashboards that leadership uses
  • Work with department heads to plan headcount and operating expenses
  • Support month-end close by reviewing accruals, doing reconciliations and preparing reports
  • Improve reporting processes and automate recurring analysis
  • Turn around ad hoc analysis for leadership, often on short timelines

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance or accounting
  • Experience in a high-growth or multi-entity business
  • An understanding of GAAP and SEC requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; experience with NetSuite and RealPage is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail
  • The ability to explain financial data clearly to people who aren't in finance
  • A process-improvement mindset and the ability to think strategically
  • Good judgment and discretion with sensitive information
  • Comfort juggling priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field is preferred
  • Must live in the Omaha, NE area.
