Position Overview
The Financial Analyst will serve as a key finance partner, playing an active role in the monthly and quarterly FP&A processes and assisting in annual budgeting and capital forecasting cycles. The role will deliver ad hoc financial analyses that generate deeper, actionable insights for business leaders, while driving greater expense transparency, accountability, and efficiency across all segments. This individual will also improve the effectiveness and scalability of FP&A processes by advancing automation and embedding AI capabilities where appropriate.
Essential Elements
- Play an active role in monthly and quarterly FP&A processes, including forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and development of management insights
- Serve as a backup administrator for BCS’s Oracle financial system, supporting user access, security roles, system administration, and continuity of critical general ledger and financial reporting processes
- Support the annual budgeting and capital forecasting processes by coordinating assumptions, analyzing business inputs, and preparing consolidated financial views.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analyses that identify trends, evaluate business performance, and provide deeper, actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Partner with segment and functional leaders to improve expense transparency, strengthen accountability, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes by standardizing workflows, reducing manual effort, advancing automation, and embedding AI capabilities where appropriate.
Requirements
- Education and Certifications
- · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Actuarial Science, Engineering
Experience
- 5-7 years of relevant FP&A experience
- Basic understanding of insurance company operations, including knowledge of insurance and premium reporting procedures is preferred
- Comfortable with GL/accounting/financials systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Power BI knowledge and familiarity with Oracle’s financial system (or other financial system) preferred
Compensation And Benefits
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is
$92,000 - $114,000
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of the month following the first day of employment.
