POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions for the manufacturing operations. This role involves analyzing production costs, inventory valuation, and operational performance to help management make informed business decisions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, material, and overhead, to identify efficiency opportunities and cost-saving measures.
  • Assist in developing standard costs and reviewing cost structures across production lines.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing data-driven insights to management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, inventory turnover, and plant utilization.
  • Conduct margin and profitability analyses by product line, customer, or region.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to track inventory accuracy, scrap, and yield.
  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
