Job Duties

  • Produces and remits various regulatory reports in a timely manner
  • Provides relevant reports to committee members for the credit union's

asset/liability and allowance for credit loss committees

  • Prepares credit union financial and asset/liability reports
  • Develop implementation enhancements, performs back testing, and facilitates

periodic third-party validations

  • Maintains the credit union's investment accounting ledgers and reports
  • Participates in administrative and operational support of credit union

departments

  • Assists with the preparation of the credit union's annual budget and

forecasting

  • Provide ongoing monitoring and advice in credit union accounting matters
  • especially emerging issues relating to the Funds Management Policy, the
  • Allowance for Loan Loss Policy, the Investment Policy, and other relevant
  • credit union policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA and/or CPA designation

desired.

  • Double entry, accrual accounting experience required.
  • Previous experience in financial institution accounting or operations is

preferred.

  • Previous experience in data mining, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Able to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on

a daily basis.

  • Able to work independently with accuracy under moderate to severe time

constraints.

  • Must be bondable.
