Credence has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Automated Addressing Systems, Digital Transformation program.

The Business Analyst is expected to work across job functions and collaborate with team members and clients extensively. Your main tasks will include Scrum team support, performing detailed requirements elicitation and analysis, documenting processes and performing functionality testing. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to bridge communication gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Secondarily, you will be expected to analyze internal processes, determine where they can be improved, and implement sustainable and scalable change.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing, documenting, and implementing solutions.

Analyzing business and system requirements

Eliciting requirements from senior Government staff to document business processes using BPMN 2.0 and supporting documentation.

Collaboration with development team and key stakeholder teams to analyze and understand requirements, then transforming the requirements into a valid solution

Facilitating Joint Application Design sessions to define workflow and features for a User Interface.

Work with UI/UX designer to establish the requirements to hand-off the design to them for further refinement.

Work with Automated Testing team to verify functional requirements have been met and are effectively regression tested with each development sprint.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver software solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Focusing on solutions rather than the confines of a particular role.

Collaborate on an ongoing project in both new and enhancements development between engineers, developers, analyst and other team members

Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Benchmarking our approaches against the latest changes and standards in the field.
  • Shifting between projects and tasks with ease.

Related duties or special projects as assigned

US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance is required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience

5 years of applicable experience in agile business requirements or a related discipline

Ability to elicit requirements, develop analyses, determine specifications, and verify outcomes in a scrum environment

Experience with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN 2.0) required, certification preferred

Demonstrated experience documenting user stories and defining acceptance criteria

Ability to support application users by investigating, communicating, and resolving their problems

Direct experience with Software Development Life Cycle and processes in a team environment. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology preferred

Experience with knowledge management, data management, and process modeling tools, systems, and procedures

Experience with Defense Automated Addressing System (DAAS), Defense Logistics Agency, or Department of War helpful

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, certifications, skills, and overall qualifications.
