Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources. Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support program management decisions.

TMB has an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Data Analyst. This position provides analytical, administrative, and reporting support to government and contractor leadership.
Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support program management decisions.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Assist in developing performance metrics and tracking program objectives.
- Support data quality reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and tracking program activities, milestones, and deliverables.
- Maintain program databases, trackers, and management reports.
- Support data calls, tasking responses, and executive information requests.
- Present analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to project teams and leadership.
- Support meetings, working groups, and program reviews by developing supporting documentation and reports.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and workflow efficiency.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI to streamline processes and improve data visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Public Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience supporting data analysis, program management, financial management, or related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly: Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, charts)
- Power BI (a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- U.S. citizenship and a Secret government security clearance.
- Experience supporting NAVSEA, PEO Ships, SEA 21, or other Department of the Navy organizations.
- Familiarity with Navy terminology, directives, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of Navy information systems such as SCIPR, COMPASS, Foundry, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Power Automate, SharePoint, or dashboard development.
- Basic knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) a plus.
- Experience supporting government contracts or consulting engagements.
- Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and Navy business processes.
