About Celea Therapeutics

Celea Therapeutics is dedicated to advancing transformative treatments for people with serious respiratory diseases. Drawn from the Latin word for “sky,” our name reflects our mission to rise above the status quo and deliver therapies that change lives. Our lead program, deupirfenidone (LYT-100), is currently in Phase 3 clinical development with active candidate enrollment, representing a potential new standard of care for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and other fibrotic lung diseases.

Rising above the status quo takes a team as strong as its science, and we hire and work by five values: accountability — owning outcomes and acting like owners; transparency — talking straight and building trust; collaboration — achieving together what no one could alone; innovation — challenging accepted ideas and taking smart risks; and passion — bringing energy and heart to the mission.

As we prepare for our next stage of growth and clinical advancement, Celea is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Medical Officer and executive team. Reporting to the CMO, this role will serve as a strategic partner to the CMO, helping drive executive priorities, strengthen cross-functional coordination, and ensure the Development organization operates effectively and efficiently while also personally managing complex calendars, meetings, communications, travel, and other day-to-day executive and administrative responsibilities.

In the near term, the focus will be supporting the CMO and Development organization through Phase 3 clinical advancement, including coordination of key meetings, milestones, leadership activities, and cross-functional priorities. Over time, this person will help build scalable processes and operating rhythms that support a growing organization, anticipate the evolving needs of the CMO and executive team, and enable Celea to operate effectively as it advances toward commercialization, and will be instrumental in guiding Celea through its next chapter. This position is based in Boston and is in-person four days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling for Executive Team: outside meetings, team meetings, potential investor meetings, and 1x1 meetings.

Organizing all on-going meetings being scheduled, while following up when needed

Maintaining calendar of CMO and other executives

Travel coordination: researching travel options (US and international), booking travel, itinerary updates/changes, expense reports, coordinating travel visas.

Build and continuously improve organization and administrative processing — including thoughtful use of AI and automation — so the function scales with the company.

Qualifications

Required

Minimum of 3-5 years supporting C-Level executive.

Experience in start-up environment strongly preferred; health and life science experience is also preferred.

Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities and anticipate needs.

Must have a positive “can do” attitude, be a consummate team player, show excellent judgment as well as work well independently with minimal supervision.

Must be highly proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint along with experience setting up systems and databases.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in the office 4 days a week.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

Proficiency using AI tools to work smarter — curiosity about how technology can improve the quality and speed of your work.
