Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

Talent Acquisition: Oversees the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting positions, interviewing candidates, developing qualified candidate pipelines, and partnering with business leaders and property HR to ensure timely hiring. Guides managers through staffing requests and conducts targeted recruiting efforts for hard-to-fill positions.

Employee Relations: Advises employees and managers on employee relations, performance, engagement, and development concerns while conducting timely investigations and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. Partners with leadership, legal representatives, and the CHRO to address complex employee matters, regulatory inquiries, and training needs.

Talent and Performance Management: Supports talent management, succession planning, retention, performance improvement, and leadership development initiatives to strengthen the organization's workforce and talent pipeline. Facilitates individual and group training programs, including Discovery Day II, Discovery Day III, and Level Up Leadership.

HR Team Leadership: Provides property HR leadership in the absence of the HR Director while supporting department operations, budgeting, engagement initiatives, and partnerships with the host property. Supervises and mentors HR team members, represents HR in leadership meetings and financial calls, and provides operational support to the General Manager as needed.

Qualifications

  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Significant specialized experience (6-10 years’ experience in same or related field).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history
