HR Generalist

What You’ll Do

• Support Our People: Serve as a friendly first point of contact for employee questions regarding standard policies, benefits, and HR systems.
• Manage Onboarding & Hiring: Assist managers through the hiring process, coordinate background and reference checks, and manage smooth onboarding using ADP Workforce Now.
• Maintain HR Operations: Process, verify, and maintain personnel, medical, safety, and training documentation within our HRIS.
• Promote Compliance & Safety: Help ensure legal compliance with federal and state regulations, support safety protocols, and assist with Workers' Compensation and OSHA records.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with management and team members to keep job descriptions up to date and support payroll processing procedures when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: An Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development is required; a Bachelor’s degree and/or a PHR certification are a wonderful plus!
• Experience: At least 1 years of hands-on experience in a Human Resources role (retail-based or equivalent experience is warmly preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.
• Core Knowledge: Familiarity with employment law, employee relations, safety, and training practices.
• Personality & Approach: Excellent communication skills, a high level of discretion and confidentiality, and a genuinely friendly, approachable demeanor when working with co-workers at all levels.
