Marketing Manager- Patient Access & Reimbursement

The Marketing Manager of Field Reimbursement Support (FRS) is part of the Patient Access team and reports to the Sr Marketing Manager of Field Reimbursement Support
This role is responsible for strategy, and operation, including supervision of Field Reimbursement Specialists and development of access tools, resources and field training programs. Responsibilities for this role will include the following:
Lead and support the vendor-based FRS team in assisting provider offices with reimbursement and billing, including addressing coding and claims-related provider issues
High Collaboration with our Channel partners to understand customer and business updates, then translate that into meaningful knowledge or action for the Field Reimbursement team
- Manage budget development and performance monitoring for FRS team
- Point of contact and lead for work with our CRM, Patient HUB, and Patient Support Program
Project Management
Develop FRS training content, including scripts for field interactions
Lead team training sessions and provide updates related to changes in coverage or reimbursement related to products
MAC submission of above brand FRS materials, including trainings
Work cross-functionally with other business units, as well as with internal partners to ensure maintenance of Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standards
Evaluate opportunities across the entire PSP portfolio
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OR
Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OR
Associate’s Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OR
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in reimbursement and patient support service programs OR field sales experience
- Ability to manage strategic projects from concept development through execution
Experience working with vendors and advertising agencies developing impactful materials on time, on budget and on target
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening and presentation skills
Creative problem-solving and the implications of potential solutions
Strong cross-functional leadership. Ability to drive influence across stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure flawless execution; even without authority
Ability to successfully prioritize a diverse workload to meet deadlines

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
