As Field Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to further Fleet Feet Nashville's mission to serve All People and All Paces in the areas of Medical Marketing, Workplace & Corporate Outreach, Charitable Partnerships, and Event Planning. You will report to the Marketing Director and work collaboratively with the Marketing team.
In this role, you will focus on strategic outreach to the medical community, host medical nights, identify corporations and businesses that are good candidates for workplace fits as well as initiate relationships with gyms, studios and other fitness-related businesses. You will be responsible for developing, staffing and executing off-site and in-store events, building and maintaining relationships with business and medical partners, ongoing staff education related to medical fits, and working collaboratively with our internal teams to successfully plan sales.
You're a great candidate if you are organized and detail-oriented, enthusiastic about building and nurturing relationships, and can work collaboratively with multiple departments to accomplish a goal. This is a 35-40 hour per week, full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. The role requires a flexible schedule, which can include mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Field Marketing Manager visits all Fleet Feet Nashville stores regularly and builds strong working connections both within the Fleet Feet Nashville organization and in the community.

Responsibilities
Promote a culture of inclusiveness and belonging.
Ensure goals and objectives are achieved through effective use of marketing and branding strategies to build brand awareness and drive customer acquisition and retention.
Collaborate with stores teams to manage in-person marketing and branding functions including but not limited to:
Medical Marketing
- Identify and connect with medical providers
- Plan and coordinate medical nights with stores and vendors
- Maintain contacts and relationships with medical community
- Appropriately staff and attend medical sales events
Corporate Outreach and Workplace Fits
Determine key partnerships and events in line with Company goals
Establish and maintain contacts and relationships with medical and corporate partners, always striving for win-win-win scenarios
- Plan and execute in-store and off-site events including but not limited to:
- Workplace Fits
- Gym Weeks
- Vendor demos with gyms/studios
- Health fairs
Charitable Partnership Efforts
Develop and maintain relationships with charitable partners, always striving for win-win-win scenarios
- Distribute Community Collection funds
- Manage Footwear Donation collection and distribution
- Support the planning and execution of events, including but not limited to:
- Expo and sales events for key Nashville area races and partners (ie, XC and track meets)
Sales events for key partnerships
- Compile and maintain accurate records and reporting on all initiatives
- Perform other duties as identified and required by leadership
- Support all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities, and functions
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in marketing or equivalent retail experience
- Fundamental understanding of retail, marketing, and merchandising
- Possess strong organizational, critical-thinking, planning, and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all staff and external contacts
Able to strategically adhere to an annual budget
Capable of managing projects independently
Consistent, level-headed, and willing to take action
Comfortable leading and directing others, both individually and in a group setting
Capable of developing and maintaining strong relationships within the running community through personal involvement
Person of integrity - Build and maintain trust from staff, customers, and the community
Able and willing to travel, primarily in-market, including all Fleet Feet Nashville locations, local events and up to 2-3 out of state events annually
Able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Valid Driver’s License
