As our Marketing Manager, Content Strategy & Thought Leadership Programs, you will help bring that story to life. You will develop the narratives, content strategies, and thought leadership programs that position Siemens as a trusted industry leader, engage target audiences, and support business growth through impactful market education and awareness initiatives.

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, organized, and results-driven individual to lead and elevate our content strategy, market awareness and education, and thought leadership program. This role serves as the strategic leader for content strategy, thought leadership, and market education programs, partnering closely with specialists across demand generation, digital marketing, communications, creative, and brand functions.

This high-visibility role will be responsible for developing compelling narratives, differentiated messaging, and strategic content programs that strengthen Siemens' market position and industry influence. You will partner with senior business leaders, subject matter experts, and communications teams to shape the narratives that define Siemens' position in the market and elevate the visibility of our expertise across key industries.

You'll Make an Impact By

Content Strategy

Own and build the global content strategy and provide differentiated messaging for organizational awareness, while validating, socializing, and deploying overarching narratives in alignment with communications and creative leaders to ensure cohesion within broader Siemens positioning.

Thought Leadership

Lead the development of thought leadership programs that elevate Siemens experts, shape industry conversations, and establish Siemens as a trusted authority in intelligent asset management and connected operations. Partner with communications, business leaders, and subject matter experts to align messaging, content strategy, and awareness initiatives that strengthen credibility and support larger Siemens corporate themes.

Vertical GTM Content Alignment

Ensure all marketing content is strategically aligned with specific vertical market go-to-market strategies, tailoring messaging and assets to resonate with target audiences in key industries.

Always-On Program Management

Develop, implement, and continuously optimize market education and awareness programs, including top-of-funnel nurture initiatives, designed to drive sustained engagement and audience growth. Collaborate with brand, reputation, content, creative, and communications leaders to maximize impact and consistency across programs.

Content Syndication

Manage third-party content syndication opportunities to expand reach and generate qualified engagement. Leverage emerging technologies, including generative AI and evolving search behaviors, to continuously improve content effectiveness, reach, and audience engagement.

Integrated Marketing & Events

Align content strategies with paid, owned, and earned marketing efforts to ensure cohesive messaging across channels while collaborating cross-functionally to support virtual and in-person events. Maximize the value of event content, presentations, and thought leadership assets through strategic repurposing and audience amplification.

Digital & Media Partnership

Partner with digital marketing and media teams to ensure content, SEO, paid, and organic programs work together effectively, optimizing performance against shared business objectives and supporting ongoing marketing priorities.

Performance Reporting & Optimization

Track, analyze, and report on content and thought leadership performance using data-driven insights to evaluate impact, identify opportunities, and continuously improve program effectiveness and ROI.

  • Required Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on content strategy, thought leadership, market education programs, executive communications, or related disciplines.
  • Proven strength in storytelling through messaging, positioning, content strategy, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing multi-channel content programs that drive awareness, engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to grammar, style, tone, and audience.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data, derive actionable insights, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance long-range planning and evolving business priorities.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including comfort working with and representing the interests of a global team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, and marketing analytics platforms.
  • Experience developing executive thought leadership or subject matter expert visibility programs.
  • Experience with content syndication and audience development strategies.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, asset management, industrial technology, or related industries.
  • Understanding of vertical go-to-market marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with intelligent asset management, connected operations, AI-enabled software platforms, or related technologies.

The pay range for this position is $94,207 - $161,498 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
