Job Details: Job Location: Santa Rosa Entertainment - Santa Rosa, CA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $85000.00 - $90000.00Salary, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Marketing, Position Summary Poppy Bank Epicenter is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts of our multi-attraction entertainment complex. This position is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for Epicenter and its attractions, restaurants, events, programs, and promotions, and for measuring how well that marketing works. Specifically, the Marketing Manager will Maximize the revenues of all revenue centers of the company. Maintain and elevate the positive public perception of each of our brands. Assist in the growth of Poppy Bank Epicenter in Santa Rosa and into new markets. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketer who can set direction, manage a budget, and lead projects from concept to completion. They should also be comfortable rolling up their sleeves with graphic design, social media, email marketing, websites, and video production. The Marketing Manager will work closely with Epicenter leadership and department managers to align marketing with business goals. They will make sure promotions are planned strategically and communicated consistently, professionally, and on schedule. SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $90,000 annually Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop and carry out an annual marketing plan that supports Epicenter's attendance, revenue, and brand goals across all attractions, restaurants, leagues, group sales, birthday parties, and events. Partner with Epicenter leadership and department managers to identify business priorities and turn them into marketing campaigns and promotional calendars. Plan and lead multi-channel campaigns from concept through launch and post-campaign review. Research market trends, competitors, and guest demographics to find growth opportunities and guide marketing decisions. Develop pricing promotions, packages, and seasonal offers together with leadership. Lead weekly Marketing meetings with Executive Team to provide status updates on marketing metrics, progress on campaigns, and brainstorming for new and future marketing efforts. Budget & Performance Develop, manage, and track the marketing budget, and allocate spending across channels and campaigns to get the strongest return. Set marketing goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). Track and analyze campaign results, including website traffic, social media engagement, email performance, advertising results, and revenue impact. Prepare regular marketing reports and recommendations for leadership. Plan, buy, and manage paid advertising, including digital, social, print, radio, and outdoor media. Brand Management Own and protect the Poppy Bank Epicenter brand, along with the individual identities of Red Eye Barbecue, Sports City, and other Epicenter concepts. Create, maintain, and enforce brand standards and visual guidelines across all marketing materials, signage, websites, and communications. Review and approve marketing materials produced by staff, departments, and outside vendors. Leadership & Vendor Management Direct the work of marketing staff, interns, contractors, and freelancers as assigned. Select, negotiate with, and manage outside agencies, printers, photographers, web developers, and other creative vendors. Serve as the primary marketing contact for department managers and coordinate their marketing requests and priorities. Creative Direction & Content Direct and, as needed, produce graphics for Epicenter and its departments, attractions, restaurants, events, leagues, programs, and promotions. Oversee the design of digital and print materials, including social media graphics, digital signage, flyers, posters, menus, event graphics, web graphics, and email graphics. Direct and, as needed, create short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, the website, and digital advertising. Oversee photography and video capture across Epicenter, including attractions, food and beverage, events, guest experiences, and behind-the-scenes content. Social Media & Digital Marketing Develop and manage the social media strategy across all Epicenter channels, including posting frequency, content mix, and audience growth goals. Own the content calendar for attractions, food and beverage, events, promotions, leagues, parties, and other Epicenter activities. Identify timely and engaging content opportunities tied to events, holidays, sports, community activities, and trends. Oversee community management and guest engagement on social media and online review platforms. Email Marketing Develop and manage the email marketing strategy, including frequency, audience segmentation, and performance goals. Work with leadership to set the priority offers, events, and announcements to feature. Oversee the creation of email content and test, analyze, and improve performance over time. Develop strategies to grow and maintain Epicenter's marketing email database. Website Management Maintain and update the Poppy Bank Epicenter, Red Eye Barbecue, and Sports City websites in-house and make sure all guest-facing information is accurate and current, including hours, pricing, promotions, events, menus, leagues, programs, and attraction information. Build and update landing pages and promotional content that support campaigns and drive conversions. Regularly review all websites for outdated information, broken links, formatting issues, and other needed improvements. Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to content, user experience, and search engine optimization (SEO). Manage larger website projects with outside vendors or developers. Public Relations & Community Partnerships Lead public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and community announcements. Develop and manage sponsorships, community partnerships, influencer relationships, and cross-promotional opportunities. Represent Epicenter at community events and networking opportunities as appropriate. General Maintain an organized library of marketing assets, photography, video, logos, templates, and completed projects. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Work Environment This job operates in a building wide capacity. This role may routinely use electrical equipment, sharp knives, and other potentially dangerous equipment. Proper training will be given prior to using any dangerous equipment. Employees in this role may be exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, and cleaning chemicals. Physical Demands The employee may be required to stand for long periods of their shift, climb or balance, and stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, using proper lifting procedures. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years leading campaigns or managing marketing programs. Experience in hospitality, entertainment, food and beverage, or retail is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Proven ability to develop marketing strategies and measure their results. Experience managing a marketing budget and paid advertising. Experience directing the work of staff, freelancers, or vendors. Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar programs. Ability to create and edit short-form marketing videos using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Express, or similar programs. Experience with website management, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines at the same time. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with managers throughout the organization. Comfortable working in a fast-paced entertainment and hospitality environment. Be a team player. Look for opportunities to help another team member. The Marketing Manager works primarily during the daytime; however, there will be occasions where the incumbent needs to work other shifts. Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Has the ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with many distractions. Has the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Has the ability to move around the facility and walk or stand for long periods of the shift. Has the ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and clean frequently.
