The Marketing Manager is the operational lead for New Horizon Academy marketing, translating strategy, campaigns, and brand direction into effective execution across our markets and locations. This role oversees three connected areas of work: CRM and marketing automation, regional and school go-to-market planning, and marketing program and project management.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • The Marketing Manager is the operational lead for New Horizon Academy marketing,
  • translating strategy, campaigns, and brand direction into effective execution
  • across our markets and locations. This role oversees three connected areas of
  • work: CRM and marketing automation, regional and school go-to-market planning,
  • and marketing program and project management.
  • The Marketing Manager works closely with District Managers, Area Directors,
  • RVPs, and leaders across the organization to develop and execute marketing plans
  • that support enrollment growth, new market expansion, and the overall New
  • Horizon Academy brand. The role serves as a key day-to-day partner to field
  • leadership and coordinates marketing execution across internal teams, agencies,
  • vendors, and other cross-functional partners.
  • The role supports established locations as well as new market and school growth
  • across New Horizon Academy's 100+ locations, including Minnesota, Idaho,
  • Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and incoming Wisconsin and North Carolina
  • locations, as well as Kinderberry Hill locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • CRM & MARKETING AUTOMATION
  • Own the day-to-day management, administration, optimization, and data quality
  • of the CRM (LineLeader) and marketing automation platforms across all
  • locations.
  • Manage the lead lifecycle from inquiry through tour and enrollment, including
  • lead routing, tour scheduling, automated communications, and enrollment
  • pipeline reporting.
  • Develop and maintain CRM dashboards and KPIs, monitor performance, identify

trends and opportunities, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

  • Continuously improve CRM messaging, workflows, personalization, and testing
  • to support lead conversion and enrollment growth while maintaining brand
  • standards.
  • Serve as the CRM subject matter expert, providing training and support to

school and field leaders.

  • Partner with IT and vendors on integrations, technical issues, enhancements,

data flow, and platform performance.

  • Support CRM setup, campaigns, and enrollment pipeline development for new

schools and markets.

GO-TO-MARKET & MARKETING STRATEGY

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for new locations, new markets, and
  • identified opportunity schools, aligning local plans with organizational
  • strategy and enrollment goals.
  • Partner with District Managers, Area Directors, RVPs, and operations leaders
  • to develop plans tailored to local market conditions, demographics,
  • competition, and enrollment needs.
  • Translate brand strategy and campaign direction into local execution across

digital, paid, social, CRM, community, event, and other appropriate channels.

  • Coordinate marketing activities that support enrollment growth, including

advertising, events, partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement.

  • Manage marketing budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and advertising

activities to support business objectives.

  • Monitor market trends, demographics, competitive activity, and marketing

performance to inform recommendations and identify opportunities.

  • Serve as a primary marketing contact for field leadership and help prioritize

and coordinate incoming marketing requests.

  • Uphold New Horizon Academy's brand standards across all marketing activities.

MARKETING PROGRAM & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinate marketing projects, priorities, timelines, deliverables, and

resources across the marketing team and cross-functional partners.

  • Facilitate communication and handoffs between internal teams, agencies,

vendors, and other stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.

  • Support content strategy, editorial planning, customer and employee
  • communications, SEO, website performance, and digital and social media
  • initiatives.
  • Coordinate events, presentations, partnerships, sponsorships, and other

multi-stakeholder marketing initiatives.

  • Serve as a first point of triage for marketing-related technical and
  • operational issues, coordinating resolution with the appropriate internal or
  • external resource.
  • Identify project risks, resource conflicts, and timeline gaps early and bring

forward solutions and recommendations.

  • Support marketing team processes, meetings, documentation, and onboarding.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, including direct experience managing a CRM

or marketing automation platform.

  • Experience with multi-location, multi-market, regional, franchise, or B2C

services marketing strongly preferred.

  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans in partnership with

field or operations leadership.

  • Proficiency with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and project management
  • platforms; experience with LineLeader, Salesforce, Google Analytics,
  • WordPress, Mailchimp, Monday.com, or similar tools preferred.
  • Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, content, SEO, social

media, and marketing performance metrics.

  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving

skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, consultative, and interpersonal
  • skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior and field
  • leadership.
  • Comfortable working independently, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating

internal and external resources to achieve results.

  • Strong sense of accountability, initiative, and customer service.
  • Able to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Able and willing to travel occasionally to support new market launches,
  • school openings, and other business needs; occasional evening or weekend
  • support may be required.
  • Must pass the required state and federal Background Study required by the

Department of Human Services.
