What You’ll DO
- The Marketing Manager – Club & Campaign Marketing is responsible for leading the
- execution of local and promotional marketing initiatives across The Edge Fitness
- Clubs.
- This role serves as the primary connection between Marketing and club
- operations, ensuring campaigns, community activations, new club openings,
- competitive initiatives and local marketing programs are executed consistently,
- effectively and on time.
- The ideal candidate is a highly organized, execution-focused marketer who
- thrives in a fast-paced, multi-location environment and can manage multiple
- priorities while coordinating internal teams, agency partners and field
- leadership.
Club & Local Marketing
- Serve as the primary Marketing contact for club and regional leadership.
- Manage and prioritize local club marketing requests.
- Identify opportunities to drive local awareness, traffic, leads and
memberships.
- Coordinate Marketing support for club promotions, events and community
initiatives.
- Develop repeatable processes and solutions for recurring club needs.
Campaign & Promotional Execution
- Own and maintain the master Marketing and promotional calendar, ensuring
cross-departmental alignment.
- Project-manage campaigns from planning through launch and closeout.
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables across Creative, CRM, Social, Digital,
agency partners and club operations.
- Ensure promotional offers, creative, communications and launch dates are
aligned.
- Track campaign readiness and proactively resolve execution issues.
- Coordinate post-campaign recaps and incorporate learnings into future
planning.
Community Events & Local Activation
- Lead Marketing support for community events, partnerships and local
activations.
- Develop event plans, timelines, assets and execution requirements.
- Coordinate internal, external and club resources.
- Ensure clubs have the materials and direction needed for successful
execution.
- Measure performance based on participation, leads, joins and other defined
outcomes.
New Club Openings & Competitive Marketing
- Serve as the Marketing project lead for new club openings and competitive
intrusion plans.
- Build and manage Marketing timelines from presale through opening and
post-opening.
- Coordinate grassroots and community outreach initiatives, including grand
opening paint the town events
- Align internal teams, agency partners and field leadership against key
milestones and deliverables.
- Maintain clear communication throughout the opening and launch process.
Marketing Operations & Project Management
- Maintain visibility into active initiatives, deadlines, owners and
deliverables.
- Establish clear timelines and accountability across internal teams and agency
partners.
- Identify roadblocks early and drive projects toward resolution.
- Improve processes, templates and communication standards to increase speed
and consistency.
- Reduce last-minute and ad-hoc work through stronger planning and repeatable
workflows.
Key Performance Indicators
- Success in this role will be measured by:
- 95%+ of planned campaigns and promotions launching on schedule.
- Consistent execution of promotional initiatives across clubs and markets.
- Timely resolution of club marketing requests.
- 100% of new club openings supported by an established Marketing project
plan.
- Successful execution of approved community events and competitive marketing
initiatives.
- Improved coordination between Marketing and field leadership.
- Reduction in missed deadlines, last-minute requests and execution gaps.
- Increased measurement of local initiatives against leads, joins and business
outcomes.
Qualifications
- What You Will NEED:
- 2-5 Years Marketing Experience
- Strong marketing project-management and organizational skills.
- Experience in multi-location fitness, retail, hospitality or another
consumer-focused business preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, markets and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working across corporate, field and
agency teams.
- Proactive, accountable and solutions-oriented approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex timelines.
- Understanding of how local marketing, promotions and community activation
support customer acquisition and growth.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
Physical Demands
- This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the
- role in a corporate office, fitness club, and other business environments.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, communicate verbally and in writing, and
- use a computer and other standard office equipment for extended periods. Must be
- able to move throughout fitness club facilities, including offices, workout
- areas, studios, locker room areas, and other operational spaces, as necessary to
- support employees and business operations.
- Requires the ability to travel between club locations and other company-related
- locations, including occasional overnight travel. Must be able to occasionally
- lift, carry, or move items weighing up to approximately 20 pounds, such as a
- laptop, training materials, supplies, or other business-related materials. May
- occasionally be required to stand or walk for extended periods during club
- visits, new club openings, training sessions, meetings, or company events.
Work Environment
- Works in a fast-paced, multi-site fitness and corporate environment with
- changing priorities and competing demands. Regularly works from the corporate
- office and within assigned club locations, with an expectation of maintaining a
- visible and engaged presence in the field.
- Frequent interaction with employees and leaders at all levels of the
- organization, both in person and through phone, video, email, and other
- communication platforms. Regular exposure to an active fitness club environment,
- which may include music, elevated noise levels, fitness equipment, large groups
- of people, and varying levels of activity.
Travel
Occasional travel to clubs with some overnight stays.
Position type and expected hours of work
- This is a full-time position. Evening and weekend work may be required as job
- duties demand.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility.
