About the Role

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead strategy, roadmap definition, and market innovation. This role combines product management expertise with AML domain knowledge to deliver industry-leading capabilities that help financial institutions detect suspicious activity, investigate alerts efficiently, and meet global regulatory reporting obligations.

The ideal candidate is both a product leader and an AML practitioner who understands how effective monitoring programs are designed, how investigators work cases, how regulators evaluate AML controls, and how transaction monitoring platforms must evolve to address emerging financial crime typologies.

You will own product development plans and represent features within the cross-functional team. You will be proposing new feature ideas that address a customer pain point or need, based on your deep understanding of the customer & market. You will prioritize and communicate production customer issues defects based on relevant data for timely resolution. You will lead the demo to key stakeholders at program milestones. You will be part of our multi-functional product development team working alongside the development and testing team to enhance our product offering. You will be leading data integration efforts and partnering with other teams to address new needs and deliver a seamless technology experience to our clients. You will be involved in the entire customer lifecycle and play a critical role directly supporting the business.

Preferred candidate is local to our US headquarters in Alpharetta, GA for weekly onsite meetings.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the strategic roadmap capabilities informed by regulatory developments, industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis

Actively gathers data from multiple sources (customer, market, revenue, etc.) to drive effective solutions to business problems and strategic issues

  • Serve as a thought leader for financial crime compliance platform
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and translate them into product investments
  • Interacts with customers regularly, and thoroughly understands AML use cases

Writing functional specification documents to a high standard with inclusion of product user workflows

Develops go to market strategy and launches plans at the product level through coordination with stakeholders and be accountable for coordinated execution across product, sales, marketing and other customer-facing teams

Working in an Agile Scrum environment following reasonable management instructions as required for the business

Requirements

Ability to analyze and understand each of the features in RiskNarrative product suite to measure the impact of changes

Strong product management expertise, including product strategy, roadmap development, customer discovery, and commercial execution

Experience working with Financial Crime and AML

Experience working directly with enterprise customers and translating complex business problems into scalable product solutions

Prioritizes hypothesis-driven product evaluation strategies, including AB testing for interactive products, while contributing to broader data-analyses strategies and platforms

Is energized by complex issues and problems that require creative solutions and is skilled in breaking down large complex issues into simpler elements that can be effectively addressed

An expert in gathering accurate and detailed client/internal stakeholder requirements for product development and work alongside with development team to deliver those requirements

Demonstrate ability to understand technical language i.e. REST, JSON, XML and accurately communicate to non-technical staff

Be self-motivated with a drive to succeed whilst demonstrating excellent teamwork with an ability to handle multiple streams of work simultaneously

Creates an atmosphere of continual improvement, in which self and others are encouraged to exceed the expected results

Does everything possible to achieve goals, regularly measures and evaluates progress

Keeps team informed of all relevant information affecting the organization, team members and their work

Delivers presentations clearly and with high impact

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $104,900 - $174,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
