WHAT YOU’LL DO & HOW IT SHAPES OUR SUCCESS
- Hallmark is seeking a strategic and experienced Product Manager to lead the
- development and execution of privacy capabilities that support Hallmark Products
- and Hallmark Media. We are building a privacy program that enables real-time
- consumer experiences through data that is well-managed, easy to govern, and
- simple to find, understand, and use. This role will help shape a scalable
- privacy ecosystem designed to evolve with the needs of the business while
- ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations and enabling the secure,
- responsible use of consumer data.
- The ideal candidate will bring expertise in privacy technologies, data and AI
- governance frameworks, data management practices, and cross-functional product
- leadership. This individual will have a demonstrated ability to translate
- complex privacy, compliance, regulatory, and technical concepts into clear,
- actionable solutions that can be understood and embraced by stakeholders across
- all levels of the organization. They will partner closely with Legal,
- Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Business teams to develop a shared
- understanding of risks, opportunities, and product decisions while driving
- alignment through effective communication, storytelling, and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Execution
- Lead the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of privacy-related
products and capabilities.
- Drive adoption and optimization of foundational data tools, including Data
Catalogs, Data Maps, and Consent Management Platforms.
- Develop and enhance capabilities supporting data quality management,
- preference and consent management, data enrichment and profiling, and
- identity resolution.
- Prioritize product features, define epics and user stories, and partner with
agile development teams to efficiently deliver high-quality solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and apply data to define KPIs, build business cases,
establish requirements, and measure product performance.
- Build alignment and drive decision-making in complex, ambiguous, and highly
regulated environments.
Privacy & Compliance
- Lead the development of privacy rights automation capabilities, including
- Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) processes and consent enforcement across
- systems and platforms.
- Ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including
- GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, APP, the App Store Accountability
- Act, VPPA, and other emerging requirements.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to translate
regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities.
- Implement and champion Privacy by Design principles throughout the product
lifecycle.
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively evolve product capabilities to
maintain compliance.
- Support and influence responsible AI and AI privacy governance initiatives.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Champion a connected, agile operating model that aligns Product, AdTech,
- Martech, HMK.com, Hallmark+, HCN, and Enterprise Data teams around
- privacy-safe, data-driven experiences.
- Partner with engineering and delivery teams through agile ceremonies, backlog
- prioritization, and release planning to ensure timely delivery of high-impact
- features.
- Communicate product vision, priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes to
leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to ensure
successful adoption and implementation of privacy capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical, legal, regulatory, or
business concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with
- experience influencing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal,
- Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
- Proven ability to build consensus and drive outcomes across cross-functional
teams.
- Experience translating abstract, high-risk, or highly regulated concepts into
practical, consumer-focused solutions.
- Experience developing and managing technology products in an agile
environment.
- Knowledge of privacy technologies, consent management platforms, data
governance frameworks, and identity resolution concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage
data to influence product decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- The following are required to be considered for this role:
- At least 4 years of experience in Product Management, with a focus on privacy
and data platforms
- Experience enabling privacy-focused products and automating compliance
workflows
- Experience applying privacy regulations and data governance frameworks in a
business, technology, or data management environment
- Experience with tools such as OneTrust, OvalEdge, Teradata warehouses, AWS,
and proficiency in Agile methodologies and product development best practices
(JIRA)
- Experience communicating technical concepts, project updates, and
recommendations to business and technical stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Your resume will stand out if you have the following:
- Experience in retail, media, or streaming industries
- Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, and
data instrumentation
- Background in enterprise data governance, metadata management, or data
quality initiatives
- Experience driving privacy enablement in cloud-native environments (e.g.,
AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead through
ambiguity
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics through clear, compelling
storytelling tailored to diverse audiences

- The salary range for this role is $120k - $145k. Final compensation varies
based on several factors.
