- Are you excited about shaping the delivery experience for one of Amazon's
- fastest fulfillment programs? The R2L Operations and Optimization team is
- looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive product strategy for our Sub-Same
- Day (SSD) delivery network. You will own the product development lifecycle for
- technology solutions that power faster-than-same-day delivery across North
- America — defining product vision, collaborating with engineering and science
- teams to turn complex requirements into customer-facing products, and guiding
- development from conception through launch. This is a high-visibility role where
- you will work through ambiguity, make decisions with limited data, and use your
- data analytics skills to shape multi-year roadmaps that directly improve the
- delivery experience.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for SSD delivery technology solutions,
aligning customer needs, business requirements, and operational constraints to
drive delivery experience improvements
- Define product requirements through customer research, data analysis, and
cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, making sound trade-off decisions
when data is incomplete
- Drive product development in close partnership with science and engineering
teams, covering feature prioritization, acceptance criteria, and launch
readiness
- Build metrics frameworks to measure product success, find the highest-leverage
input metrics, and use data to guide iteration and roadmap priorities
- Work across engineering, design, operations, and business teams to deliver
complex products within the SSD delivery network while keeping stakeholders
aligned
- A day in the life
- You will start many mornings reviewing operational metrics and delivery partner
- feedback to spot emerging opportunities or issues. From there, you may jump into
- working sessions with engineering and science partners to refine product
- requirements, followed by alignment discussions with operations, design, and
- business teams. Much of your work is proactive and roadmap-driven, requiring you
- to balance long-term planning with near-term delivery decisions in an
- environment where clarity often needs to be created rather than inherited.
- Amazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family
- members, including domestic partners and their children. Benefits can vary by
- location, the number of regularly scheduled hours you work, length of
- employment, and job status such as seasonal or temporary employment.
The benefits that generally apply to regular, full-time employees include:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage
- Maternity and Parental Leave Options
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- 401(k) Plan

- At Amazon, we value people with unique backgrounds, experiences, and skillsets.
- If you’re passionate about this role and want to make an impact on a global
- scale, please apply!
