General Summary

Own product definition and execution for assigned Ethernet products across PHY, multi-PHY, NIC, or switching, contributing to the broader portfolio roadmap and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Drive product requirements across hardware, firmware, system architecture, and software enablement, coordinating with engineering owners to ensure cohesive silicon-to-system solutions.

Contribute to roadmap planning — feature definition, performance tiering, SKU options, and lifecycle milestones — under the direction of portfolio leadership.

Translate market and customer requirements into product requirement documents, platform software expectations, and inputs to reference architectures.

Serve as a voice of the customer, engaging with OEM, enterprise, and service-provider customers and partners to gather requirements, validate direction, and support design-in activity.

Analyze architecture-level trade-offs across performance, power, cost, programmability, and time-to-market, and present recommendations to architecture and product leadership.

Develop business case inputs including market sizing, competitive benchmarking, pricing analysis, cost impacts, and revenue modeling for assigned products.

Support go-to-market execution with sales, marketing, and business development, including positioning content, launch readiness, customer sampling, and field enablement materials.

Drive cross-functional execution across silicon design, platform software, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, and ecosystem partners, adapting to shifting priorities while meeting committed schedules.

Track product milestones, dependencies, and risks, escalating issues and proposing resolutions in a timely manner.

Represent assigned products in internal product reviews, customer roadmap discussions, and ecosystem engagements.

Share domain knowledge and provide constructive feedback to junior product managers and cross-functional partners.

This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy.
