As a Product Manager at Lender Toolkit, you will be a crucial part of our product development team, driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our mortgage software solutions. You will be hands-on and in the weeds on a regular basis. To be successful, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to define and prioritize features, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs and exceed customer expectations.
What You’ll Own
Define and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and priorities in alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Serve as the voice of t he customer, ensuring product features deliver value and solve real-world problems.
Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes to validate ideas with customers before development begins.
Conduct usability testing and apply findings to improve workflows inside Encompass and our standalone tools.
Contribute to technical design discussions for Encompass integrations and plugins.
Work directly in technical details: review API specs, write or read basic queries, and evaluate feasibility and tradeoffs with engineers.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform iterative improvements.
- Partner with QA and development teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Communicate product updates and milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with Engineering to identify where AI and automation can improve our products and our customers' workflows and define clear success metrics and acceptance criteria for AI-powered features.
Work with Security and Compliance to ensure new features meet lender compliance and data privacy requirements, including our ISO/IEC 42001 AI governance standards.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation, backlogs, and work items in Azure DevOps.

About You
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or related field. Commensurate experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of product experience in the mortgage software industry, tech industry, or a related field.
Ability to analyze issues at a root level and identify solutions to prevent the issues in the future.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products from ideation to market adoption.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends, translating them into actionable product strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience working in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation, discipline, and effective time management skills.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
- The ability to recognize and act on changing priorities.
- Continuous learning mindset and excitement to utilize AI resources to improve work.
Nice to Have
3+ years of knowledge of the ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass platform/ mortgage industry, preferred.
Deep understanding of mortgage industry processes, compliance requirements, and software solutions, and their application to a general production workflow.
