The IT Product Manager is the primary interface to the business to help align business partner needs to technology services.   • Complex responsibilities related to primary focus of job area. Uses best practices and in-depth business knowledge to solve complex problems and improve products or services. May adapt procedures, processes and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develops and champions a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a specific product within a product area in support of corporate goals.
  • Developing product road map in partnership with stakeholders ensuring consistency with organization and business line objectives and goals.
  • Ensures product vision is communicated to the product owners.
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, competitive analysis, planning, requirements development, and product delivery
  • Communicating product vision to development teams and provides guidance to the team to ensure development delivers on the vision.
  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
  • Critically assess the user experience that these features deliver.
  • Setup KPIs and goals, measure and track result, evaluate success/failure.
  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on i mprovement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
  • Understand and articulate the overall vision of the portfolio.
  • Solve for business needs through technical application
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Makes decisions on moderately complex to highly complex issues regarding technical approach for delivery and is performed with minimal direction.
  • Proactively address the effectiveness of our products managing customer perceptions of deficiencies.
  • Owner of the product portfolio for all products and responsible for adhering to established process disciplines and contribute to the on-going continuous improvement for product life cycle initiatives.
  • Gather and articulate project requirements through working with stakeholders.
  • Evaluating electric utility industry trends, legal/regulatory climate, competitive products and changes in marketplace technology.
  • Listen carefully to the needs of all stakeholders and weighs their desires against the need to monitor costs and benefits.
  • Influences department’s strategy based upon existing and future technology assets.
  • All other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS or related field and 4 years of experience managing or leading projects, product ownership, or performing similar work; Or
  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of experience managing or leading projects, product ownership, or performing similar work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with or leading an enterprise ServiceNow platform, including roadmap development, demand management, governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of platform enhancements.
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HAM, SAM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, or Service Portal.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other ServiceNow certifications.
  • Experience working in Agile product delivery environments and managing ServiceNow backlogs and releases.
