The Opportunity
Serve as an experienced ART‑Level Business Analyst / Product Manager in a Scaled Agile environment, translating portfolio Epics and business objectives into well‑defined Capabilities and Features for ART execution.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Epic Owners, Business Owners, Product/Solution Management, Architects, and ART SMEs to understand Epic scope, intended outcomes, and business priorities.
Lead the decomposition of Epics into a complete, detailed set of Capabilities and Features, ensuring full Epic scope is represented in the ART backlog.
Define and document Features and Enabler Features, including scope, business value, acceptance criteria, dependencies, assumptions, and expected outcomes.
Facilitate cross‑functional working sessions to identify, refine, and align Features across business, technical, functional, architecture, integration, security, and data stakeholders.
Ensure Features are properly sized, clearly defined, and refined to support delivery within a Program Increment (PI).
Identify and coordinate cross‑team, cross‑ART, cross‑Feature, and cross‑Epic dependencies to support sequencing and delivery planning.
Manage and refine the ART backlog, partnering with Product Management and ART leadership to prioritize Features based on business value, dependencies, risks, and roadmap priorities.
Drive ART Backlog Refinement and PI‑planning readiness, ensuring prioritized Features meet established readiness criteria.
Partner with Product Owners and team‑level Business Analysts to support Feature‑to‑Story decomposition and maintain alignment between Feature intent and team execution.
Maintain end‑to‑end traceability from Epics and Capabilities through Features and Stories, ensuring alignment between portfolio objectives and ART delivery.
Monitor Feature progress throughout the PI and support PI Planning, System Demos, Feature acceptance, and ART‑level reporting, addressing dependency, scope, and requirement issues as needed.
Required Skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass background investigation.
- Must have a Secret clearance to begin employment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on iterative software‑development projects.
- Familiarity with SAFe or other Agile methodologies.
- Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint

$75,200-$158,100
