About this Role

The Business Consultant is an outside-sales role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will own the sales process from prospecting and initial appointment through negotiation, closing, implementation, and post-sale relationship management.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-directed sales professional who thrives on generating new business, building relationships with decision-makers, and consistently exceeding sales goals. You will leverage networking, referrals, channel partners, self-generated opportunities, and the company's broader lead-generation resources to develop a strong pipeline.

Market & Industry Development

  • Stay current on industry trends, products, services, and evolving business practices.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify potential competitive threats and opportunities.

Continuously expand your knowledge of the company's solutions and the PEO, HCM, HR, payroll, and benefits landscape.

Participate in training, webinars, consulting meetings, industry conferences, and professional development opportunities.
