The Role

  • The Account Executive, Payments is a sales role responsible for driving revenue

  • This individual will proactively engage dental practices to identify
  • opportunities, understand their payment processing needs and business
  • challenges, and position solutions that improve operational efficiency and the
  • patient payment experience.
  • Success in this role is measured by the ability to uncover opportunities,
  • demonstrate the value of integrated payments, and close new business. The
  • Account Executive will manage opportunities throughout the sales process, from
  • initial discovery through demonstration, negotiation, and close. Successful
  • execution includes achieving weekly and monthly sales targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive Payments Revenue: Proactively identify and close opportunities for
  • integrated payment solutions across new and existing dental practice
  • customers.
  • Proactive Customer Engagement: Reach out to customers and prospects through
  • outbound calling and other sales activities to schedule meetings, uncover
  • payment opportunities, and understand each customer's business challenges and
  • goals.
  • Consultative Selling: Work closely with customers to understand their current
  • payment workflows and processing needs. Recommend integrated payment
  • solutions that simplify transactions, improve operational efficiency, and
  • reduce friction for both the practice and its patients.
  • Patient Experience Focus: Demonstrate how integrated payment solutions can
  • simplify the patient payment experience, provide convenient payment options,
  • and help create a more seamless financial experience for patients.
  • Practice Efficiency Focus: Highlight opportunities to reduce manual work,
  • streamline payment processing, improve workflow efficiency, and allow
  • practice staff to spend more time focused on patients.
  • Sales Presentations and Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging
  • presentations and product demonstrations that connect the capabilities of our
  • payment solutions to the customer's specific needs, workflows, and business
  • goals.
  • Manage and Close Opportunities: Manage the sales process from initial contact
  • through product demonstration, contract negotiation, and close. Maintain
  • momentum throughout the sales cycle and clearly communicate next steps with
  • the customer.
  • Achieve Sales and Activity Targets: Meet daily, weekly and monthly KPI
  • targets for sales activity, meetings scheduled, product demonstrations,
  • closed deals, and revenue performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure a

smooth handoff and implementation experience following the sale.

  • Continuous Improvement: Champion change and continuously develop knowledge of

new sales techniques, processes, products, and technology.

Candidate Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of full-cycle sales experience preferably in payments or at a
  • software company; or strong SDR experience with a proven track record will
  • also be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales process and achieve or exceed sales

targets.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal,

organizational, and presentation abilities.

  • Comfortable using technology to manage sales opportunities and customer
  • engagement, including CRM, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office applications,
  • and related sales tools.
  • Comfortable conducting software and product demonstrations with customers.
  • Ability to uncover customer needs, communicate value, and influence desired

business outcomes.

  • Strong willingness to learn new products, sales techniques, processes, and

technology.

  • Experience within dental practices, dental technology, integrated payments,

or SaaS is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a remote position. Typical work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Total Compensation Range: $90,000 - $95,000 USD annually, which includes a base
  • salary and target variable incentive. Actual compensation will be determined
  • based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
