POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Manager in Training program at MOC Products Company, Inc. is designed to develop future sales leaders within our automotive chemical and maintenance product solutions division. Working closely with Senior Sales Managers and Regional Directors, the candidate will gain hands-on experience in business development, account management, dealership relationship management, and team leadership.
Upon successful completion of the training program, the individual will be positioned to assume full management responsibilities over a designated sales territory or team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Training & Development: Participate in intensive structured training covering MOC product lines, automotive dealership service operations, and core sales methodologies.
- Account & Territory Management: Shadow experienced Sales Managers to learn account retention, revenue expansion, and client onboarding processes for automotive dealership service departments.
- Product Demonstration & Technical Knowledge: Master technical specifications and practical applications of MOC chemical products, shop equipment, and service tools; conduct product demos for dealership technicians and service advisors.
- CRM & Enterprise Tool Proficiency: Utilize company applications—including Dynamics 365, ADP Workforce Now, and internal reporting portals—to track sales metrics, maintain customer profiles, and manage daily workflows.
- Training & Onboarding Support: Assist in delivering product training and safety guidelines (WERCS / SDS compliance) to dealership service teams.
- Sales Strategy & Reporting: Collaborate on quarterly sales forecasts, market analyses, and competitive research; participate in sales meetings and company-wide training initiatives via Microsoft Teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Technology, or equivalent practical sales experience.
- Automotive Industry Interest: Background or strong interest in automotive service, dealership operations, or industrial sales is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels of dealership management and service personnel.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Leadership Potential: Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, self-motivation, and willingness to step into team leadership roles.
- Mobility & Travel: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel within the assigned regional territory.
