KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (WHAT YOU ARE DOING)
- Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives and
- develop strategic advertising solutions that leverage Hearst Magazines' full
- portfolio of brands and products.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Research, and external partners to support
RFP development, pre-sale strategy, and customized advertising programs.
- Build compelling media plans that achieve client KPIs, maximize revenue
opportunities, maintain profitability, and align with business guidelines.
- Manage campaign execution from sale through launch by ensuring alignment
- across media plans, insertion orders, order management systems, and client
- requirements.
- Lead campaign kickoffs, coordinate timelines, manage creative assets, and
communicate campaign objectives to cross-functional post-sale teams.
- Monitor campaign delivery and performance, partnering with internal teams to
implement optimizations, process revisions, and ensure successful execution.
- Analyze campaign results, contribute to wrap reports, identify renewal and
- upsell opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations based on
- performance insights.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for assigned accounts by maintaining deep
- expertise in Hearst's advertising products, processes, and client solutions
- while identifying opportunities to improve workflows and client experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS (WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR)
- 3+ years of experience in media planning, advertising strategy, account
management, or a related client-facing advertising role.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising products, campaign planning, and
the advertising sales lifecycle.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills with
the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build
- strong relationships across clients, agencies, vendors, and internal
- stakeholders.
- Proven ability to think strategically, solve problems proactively, and
deliver outstanding client service.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Research,
Campaign Management, and other business partners.
- Familiarity with advertising platforms and systems such as Google Analytics,
Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, with an expectation of working in
the office four days per week.

- The base salary range for this role is $76,000-$85,000. This position is not
- eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be
- determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
