Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial statements by consistently applying accounting principles and procedures to prepare and analyze financial information. Oversees and performs advanced accounting activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and variance analysis while identifying opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology. Partners with cross-functional teams and department leaders to provide financial insights, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication of financial results.Key Responsibilities:

Perform accounting functions and journal entries related to month-end close responsibilities.

Lead process improvements, system enhancements, meetings, and training sessions.

Prepare and manage reconciliations for assigned General Ledger accounts, including researching any unexpected variances and resolving reconciling items.

Generate monthly reports and provide variance commentary.

Support internal and external audit requests by providing accurate financial data and variance explanations.

Engage in cross-training with other members to promote career growth and ensure seamless team coverage.

Additional Skills

Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data extraction) and Google Suite, with a strong ability to navigate diverse Enterprise Resource Planning  environments, specifically SAP.

Effective written and verbal communicator

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience), accounting or finance major preferred.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $101,300.00 - $120,200.00

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
