JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary of Position

The Senior Accountant is responsible for intermediate level account work, including general ledger analysis. This person will work closely with the Assistant Controller, Grant Manager, and Regional Finance Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, approve, and verify entries into the general ledger
  • Perform general ledger analysis as assigned by Assistant Controller or Finance Officer
  • Assist in month end duties for closing of the financials
  • Perform other closing task as needed
  • Perform AR reconciliations for multiple accounts
  • Assist in banking reporting
  • Audit documentation preparation and work with auditors
  • Prepare allocations and run in Workday
  • Prepare expenses for external funding

Assis with budget procedures and process

Job Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

Experience

Two years of general ledger accounting experience. Prior budgeting experience preferred. Ability to analyze fiscal data.

$67,610.00--$101,430.00
