Key Responsibilities

Process and manage factory and inventory payments, ensuring accurate 3-way match between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices

Collaborate with purchasing and other departments to resolve issues related to invoices and payments

Investigate and help implement fraud detection practices related to vendor payments and system controls

Participate in the development and rollout of automation tools and new technologies to improve AP processes and reporting

Prepare and file sales and use tax returns and international VAT/GST filings, and maintain the compliance calendar

Support the month-end close process by reconciling AP subledger to the general ledger and ensuring cut-off accuracy

Assist with external audits by preparing requested documentation and supporting schedules

Required Qualifications

1-2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and General Accounting functions

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, required

Intermediate knowledge of Excel (including use of formulas/functions (VLOOKUP, IF, etc.), pivot tables, power query, and ability to sort and analyze data sets to identify errors)

Confident working with internal and external customers

Working knowledge of GAAP

Desired Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems, preferred

SQL knowledge, preferred
