Independently analyzes business needs, defines requirements, configures Salesforce and integrated third-party solutions, and resolves complex issues to support business objectives. Emphasizes delivering scalable, high-quality capabilities through business analysis, user story development, platform configuration, testing, and lifecycle management. Collaborates with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to implement and optimize Salesforce and related applications while driving continuous improvement and user adoption.

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software components and services that address defined business and user requirements within an assigned technical domain.
  2. Implements well-scoped features and enhancements using established coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices.
  3. Contributes to the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications by writing high-quality, maintainable code and participating in peer code reviews.
  4. Collaborates with cross-functional technical teams to execute planned technical initiatives and deliver solutions on schedule.
  5. Troubleshoots, debugs, and resolves software defects and production issues within area of responsibility, applying root-cause analysis as needed.
  6. Participates in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements refinement, design discussions, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  7. Applies secure coding practices, testing strategies, and documentation standards to ensure software quality and compliance with team guidelines.
  8. Leverages existing frameworks, tools, and technologies to build and enhance applications across relevant technology domains.

  1. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience.
  2. In-depth knowledge of information systems with the ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
  3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Perform business process analysis and lead requirement gathering.
  2. Perform configuration in Salesforce of all declarative functionality including complex validation rules, Lightning Record Pages, and Flows.
  3. Document and explain requirements in story format in accordance with best practices.
  4. Develop clear and complete Acceptance Criteria for testers covering positive, negative, and regression scenarios.
  5. Independently design solutions for low to medium complexity projects and collaborate on solutions for high complexity and integration projects.
  6. Lead medium and high complexity projects from initial kickoff through delivery.
  7. Troubleshoot escalated production issues within Salesforce and coordinate with teams supporting integrated applications.
  8. Conduct data exports, analysis and updates using a variety of tools including Dev Console, Workbench, and Data Loader.
  9. Work in an Agile environment as an active participant and leader of daily standups, refinement sessions, and retrospectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Experience leveraging AI for solution development.
  • Experience implementing third-party software such as Eloqua, Highspot, and Seismic.

Experience with third-party Salesforce solutions such as Conga, Nintex Drawloop, and FormAssembly.
