Description
Martin Marietta is looking for a Financial Analyst to analyze, develop, and provide automated solutions impacting financial controllership in our Kansas City Region.
Responsibilities
Works with division leadership on a daily basis to provide financial analysis and accounting activities
Analyses data, identifies trends, determines findings, and provides recommendations
Works with senior level analysts and managers in financial controllership to monitors financial activities and transactions, assessing them for compliance, and reports any anomalies
Train budget holders on proper forecasting techniques and our forecasting/reporting systems
Educate budget holders on understanding the Pandamp;L and how operational KPIs impact the Pandamp;L and Working Capital
- Proactively identify gaps in business processes or knowledge and work to close them
- Perform variance analysis to identify errors and opportunities
- Perform data analysis to support business decisions
- Ad hoc work as designated by the Finance Manager/Supervisor and Regional VP
