We work a hybrid model (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home); this

position is located in our Minneapolis Metro headquarters.

  • Our Technology Solutions Group is seeking interest for a Senior Data Analyst.
  • The role of Senior Data Analyst is to manage the ad-hoc data reporting needs of
  • customers that have this capability sold as a part of their project. The Senior
  • Data Analyst will work closely with the program delivery team to define the
  • reporting needs and design a data mart or data repository that efficiently
  • handles the requirements of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with BIW's client services, sales force and TSG design and delivery

teams in a consultative manner, including presentation of data.

  • Ongoing communication with BIW's sales force, Client Services, Customer
  • Technology Managers, and technical team on program status, issues and
  • changes.
  • Define, develop and deliver reports and dashboards through Tableau and other

analytic tools (Tableau preferred).

  • Conducting data analysis using multiple techniques and approaches --

Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive and/or Prescriptive analytics.

  • Provide consultative services during the design phase of reporting.
  • Complete achievement modeling based on rule structures and raw data or help

answer other data-related questions (pre-sale and post-sale).

  • Create Excel templates to enable others to more efficiently and effectively

complete their work.

  • Evaluate existing processes and aid in implementing improvements that drive

efficiency and accuracy.

  • Calculate program results based on raw data files and program rules.

Skills & Abilities

  • Experience with statistical analysis a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with multiple analytic techniques/methods.
  • Experience presenting results to clients, both internal and external.
  • Process oriented, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Education/Experience Required

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Statistics, or Technology; highly preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis and/or statistical analysis.
  • Expertise writing complex formulas in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Power

Pivot.

  • Strong experience with SQL and Tableau tool is required.
  • Base Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000. The final salary and offer will be
  • determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills.
