- Curant Health is searching for a Data Analyst II – Curant Rare to join its team.
- This position is responsible for managing reporting, data quality, and
- operational analytics to support assigned Curant Rare programs. Key
- responsibilities include developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards,
- monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements
- (SLAs), validating data accuracy, and preparing reporting for monthly and
- Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with
- the ability to translate complex patient, referral, prior authorization,
- dispensing, and operational data into actionable insights. This role works
- closely with internal teams, clients, and manufacturers to identify
- opportunities for improvement, enhance reporting processes, and support informed
- business decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The successful candidate will:
- Develop, maintain, validate, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and
- recurring data files to support operational performance and business
- reporting needs.
- Ensure consistent design, functionality, and user experience across reports
and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather reporting requirements, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and support
user acceptance testing to ensure reporting solutions meet business needs.
- Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, including
scorecards, trend analyses, exception reports, and patient-level data.
- Establish and maintain data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure
reporting accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems.
- Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, assess business impact,
and collaborate with appropriate teams to implement corrective actions.
- Analyze patient journeys, referrals, prior authorizations, dispensing
- activity, and operational workflows to identify trends, performance gaps, and
- improvement opportunities.
- Monitor program performance related to enrollment, therapy initiation,
- conversion, adherence, persistence, refill continuity, and service-level
- requirements.
- Perform cohort, trend, aging, turnaround-time, segmentation, variance, and
exception analyses to evaluate operational effectiveness.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear business insights,
recommendations, and actionable solutions for leadership and stakeholders.
- Recommend reporting enhancements, workflow improvements, automation
- opportunities, and system changes to improve efficiency, data quality, and
- overall program performance.
- Prepare validated data, performance summaries, visualizations, and
- executive-level presentations for monthly business reviews and Quarterly
- Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Partner with Patient Engagement, Pharmacy, Finance, IT, program leadership,
- clients, and manufacturers to define reporting requirements, review results,
- and resolve data-related concerns.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client data teams regarding reporting
- requirements, data transfers, metric alignment, user feedback, and issue
- resolution.
- Maintain documentation of reporting logic, data sources, metric definitions,
- validation procedures, system changes, and reporting limitations to support
- audit readiness.
- Track reporting issues, corrective actions, project deliverables, and
improvement initiatives to ensure timely resolution and measurable results.
- Collaborate with technical and development teams to document business
- requirements, prioritize enhancements, support testing, and facilitate
- implementation of reporting improvements.
- Manage recurring reporting schedules, competing priorities, and ad hoc
requests while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support
departmental and organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems,
Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business
- intelligence, reporting, healthcare operations, or a comparable analytical
- role. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot
tables, data reconciliation, data cleanup, and reporting.
- Intermediate proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development, visual
- design, navigation, filters, publishing, report validation, and user
- acceptance testing.
- Experience applying UI/UX principles to dashboards and data files to ensure
clear, consistent, and user-friendly reporting.
- Strong understanding of structured data, reporting processes, data
validation, and reconciliation across multiple systems.
- Ability to document business requirements and collaborate with technical
teams to investigate issues and implement improvements.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the
- ability to identify root causes, evaluate business impact, and recommend
- practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
present findings and recommendations to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities,
- recurring deliverables, and deadlines independently while maintaining
- accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, patient services, life
sciences, or pharmaceutical manufacturer reporting.
- Experience analyzing patient-level operational data, prior authorizations,
- dispensing activity, service-level metrics, conversion, adherence, retention,
- or persistence.
- Experience with data quality management, dashboard testing, accessibility,
process improvement, release support, or user testing.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and
- their application to reporting, trend identification, and operational
- decision-making.
- Experience presenting analytical findings, business recommendations, and
- performance results to clients, manufacturers, operational leaders, or
- executive stakeholders.
